Terms of Use

[ LAST UPDATED · 4 JULY 2026 ]

These terms govern use of the teleradiology reporting service operated by Next Healthcare Pty Ltd (“Next Healthcare”, “we”, “us”) of 227 Abbotsford St, North Melbourne VIC 3051. By creating an account or submitting a study for reporting, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

We provide teleradiology reporting: registered dental and health practitioners upload imaging studies (such as OPG, lateral ceph, intraoral and CBCT studies) together with relevant patient and clinical details, and a radiologist prepares a written report that is returned to the referring practitioner through the portal.

2. Accounts

  • The service is available only to registered dental and health practitioners and their authorised practice staff. It is not a service for patients or the general public.
  • You must provide accurate, current information when registering — including your name, practice details and professional registration — and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorised access.

3. Patient consent

By uploading a study, you warrant that you have the patient’s consent (or another lawful basis) to share their health information — including their name, date of birth, sex, clinical notes and imaging — with Next Healthcare and its reporting radiologists for the purpose of radiology reporting. You remain responsible for your own consent, privacy and record-keeping obligations to your patients.

4. Uploads and image quality

The quality of the report depends on the quality of the upload. You are responsible for submitting complete, diagnostic-quality studies — for CBCT, that means the full exported DICOM volume, not screenshots, cropped exports or single slices. Our export guides show how to export correctly from each major platform. We may decline to report a study that is incomplete or non-diagnostic.

5. Fees and payment

  • Fees are charged per study, in Australian dollars, and are payable upfront at the time of submission.
  • Payment is processed by Stripe. Card details are provided directly to Stripe and are not stored on our servers.
  • Current fees are displayed at the time of upload. We may change fees from time to time; changes apply only to studies submitted after the change.

6. Turnaround times

Our standard turnaround target is 48 hours from submission of a complete, diagnostic study, and same-day for studies flagged urgent. These are targets, not guarantees — turnaround may occasionally be longer, for example where a study requires additional review or where information is missing. We will keep you informed of any material delay.

7. Reports and clinical responsibility

  • Reports are provided to the referring practitioner for use in their clinical care of the patient. They are a specialist opinion on the imaging supplied — they do not replace the practitioner's own clinical judgment, examination or treatment decisions.
  • The radiologist reports the imaged field actually supplied. Anatomy outside the submitted volume, or not captured at diagnostic quality, cannot be and is not reported.
  • Reports are prepared on the basis of the clinical information provided at upload. Please include relevant history — it materially affects the usefulness of the report.

8. Refunds

If we cannot report a study — for example because the upload is non-diagnostic, incomplete or corrupted — we will tell you why and refund the fee for that study in full. Where a study has been reported, fees are not refundable except as required by law, but if you believe a report contains an error, contact us and we will have it reviewed and corrected where appropriate at no charge.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with a reported study is limited to the reporting fee paid for that study, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Where liability cannot be limited in that way, it is limited, at our option, to resupplying the service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.

10. Privacy

Personal and patient information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page, and material changes will be notified through the portal or by email. Continued use of the service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
